These flat light bulbs have been floating around the design blogs for the past few days but I just had to show them off. The flat light bulbs are designed by Joonhuyn Kim of Korea. They have been shown as part of a display at 100% Design Tokyo last week. The bulbs are a third smaller then standard thus they will reduce the cost of packaging and shipping. Something we need to be concerned about in our goals to be more eco friendly. I can't wait to see who picks up this design and takes it to market.
