Nikon has just released the world’s first camera with an ultra-small, built-in projector. The camera. the COOLPIX S1000pj, lists for $429.95, takes 12.1 Megapixel images and has a build-in projector of 10 lumens. I know that is not a huge brightness when it comes to projects but Nikon says it will project an image size of 5" to 40" with a throw distance of 10" to 6'-6" and last about an hour per battery charge. This will allow a new way for us all to see pictures or video. Most important is this is a start of things to come. Can you image this technology in a few years? We will all have our own personnel video projects and cameras. At this very reasonable price of $430, I say Nikon is on to something. I would love to play around with one and am looking forward to hearing more about this revolution in bring together a camera and projector.
